Royal Suroil SA was founded in 2023 in Togo. Royal Suroil SA is an independent physical trading company. We buy and sell and move physical commodities through our global network.
Our aim is to satisfy every customer by delivering the products on time and to the specifications of the customers. Our business is based on integrity and therefore the relationships with our suppliers and customers is highly respected.
What we do
Crude Oil and Petroleum Products Trading
The company buys, store and deliver physical commodities reliably, efficiently and responsibly anywhere in the world. We work with partners such as national oil companies, oil majors, independent producers and refiners which makes it able for us to supply globally.
All fuel transfers are subject to testing by independent inspectors.
SGS is who we use as Independent inspector.
Agricultural Food Products and Petrol Chemicals
In addition, agricultural food products and petrol chemicals also characterize ROYAL SUROIL SA as one of the best in importation and expectation. In food, we specialize in Sugar, Rice, Pasta, Vegetable cooking oil, macaroni, and milk powder while petrol chemical is a fertilizer for agricultural purposes such as Urea. Our rice is imported from the number one bestsellers countries Thailand and India. Our pasta and macaroni are from Italy, and our sugar is from Brazil. We are interested about every tangible client either from Togo, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, or another part of Africa and safe parts of the world.

By teaming up with shipowners we have access to a large fleet of tankers.

- 80,000–159,999 DWT: Large Range 2 (LR2)
- 160,000–319,999 DWT: Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC)
Delivery
Royal Suroil SA delivers petroleum products that meet specifications agreed with our customers.
National governments and their regulatory authorities are in charge of setting these specifications.
Fuel grades therefore reflect local requirements and priorities.
Storage
We have access to storage capacity all over the world through lease. Royal Suroil SA stores petroleum products on land. We conduct due diligence to ensure the storage facilities we select meets international best practice. Storage is leased from third-party owned terminals.
Royal Suroil SA’s Due Diligence Procedure and Storage Approval’ process, which applies to all third-party owned terminals, includes the following activities:
- Independent inspectors audit the terminal and review all mandatory licences
- Royal Suroil SA’s insurers review documentation and give consent for commercial agreements to proceed
- Due diligence is repeated every year
